I put a call out on Facebook for a song topic. I received two immediate replies: omelets and shoelaces.

45 minutes later I'd penned this masterpiece. I had no idea it was to have such a positive message.

Start with eggs I'll use three A bit of ham and a mess of cheese Throw in a pan turn up the heat Holy crap it resembles me

I starts as a mess not nice to see But as it cooks it’s consistency Begins to firm ceasing to be So wishy-washy and ugly

A yellow cloud light and fluffy Has filled the pan with aromas a plenty Ham and cheese a feast of kings What glory a little fire brings

Onto a plate then to the table But we’re not done with this silly fable Catch the point if you’re able What once was fluid now is stable

Much like eggs we can break and yet That’s when we’re most valuable Are you starting to get the point You’ll find it I bet If you’re broken by life Theres’ no need to fret You’re perfectly poised to become a Delicious and nutritious and satisfying omelet
